I am pleasantly surprised with Fareway this morning! The cheese coupon is BACK! Fareway shredded cheese is 4/$4 and that is a stock up price!
Also Campbell’s chunky soup is 3/$3 with in ad coupon, combine that with the $1/4 coupon from the ss insert from 8/14 or coupons found here and you have yourself some cheap soup!
Also, the Ore-Ida Frozen Potato product in ad coupon for buy 2 get 1 free goes great with the Ore-Ida coupon from the ss insert 8/21 for $1 off the purchase of 3 products!
I also like the Green Giant Russet potatoes for $1.99/5 lb bag, and the Knorr pasta or rice sides for 10/$10 – if you live around a Dollar General I found $.75/2 manufacturer coupons on the shelf at my nearest store, they have the DG logo on them but since they are manuf. coupons you can use them anywhere!
Hy-Vee had a $.99 Hyvee brand chips coupon on the front of my paper, good deal if you need chips!
I’ll post deals with Hy-Vee and Dahl’s as I find them, but so far Fareway is my store of choice this week! Remember all Fareway’s price match so be sure to take your other ad’s with you!
Remeber to join my group on Facebook – Iowa Couponing for more great deals! And check out my Couponing Class! https://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php? eid=142466529180877

Okay, Katie…I will probably learn this in class but I have ask… What is the ss insert or any of the other inserts that you often refer to? Where do I find them? Thanks, lady.
Good questions! Theses are the inserts or coupons found in the Sunday Des Moines Register. The SS stands for Smart Source, RP is Red Plum, and PG is Proctor an Gamble. Those are typically the 3 companies that produce the inserts. Most couponers will either save the inserts or clip the coupons out each week and organize them (we will talk about this in class) so referencing where the coupon came from can help those that keep their coupons from week to week.
