I’m going to post this list at the end of every month with items that will typically be on sale or items that you can find great deals on in the next month!

April Savings Totals!

I keep a running total of the amount that I save just with coupons that I use during the month on groceries, household items, beauty items, and personal care items. At the end of the month I compare that total with the total that I spent out-of-pocket on those items to see how much I saved JUST using coupons! This month’s total is…….. I spent $254.51 and SAVED $ 310.10 just with coupons!! That’s a 55 % savings on everything! I was $25.49 under budget this month!  It was a good thing I was away for a week and the grocery deals weren’t that great this past week so I had enough for my Menards trip yesterday and my Target trip today!

My grocery,household, beauty, and personal care items budget for the month is $280.

So for next month keep a running total of every coupon you use in a notebook or on a sheet of paper, you might just be surprised at the end of month with how much you’ve saved! Couponing for Community! May 6-12!

Hi Everyone!  I just found out about this great event and wanted to share it with everyone!  It’s called Couponing for Community! Here is a link to their fb page!

Basically Couponing for Community is an effort by couponers all over America to use the power of couponing to make a united impact.  We invite you to join this community of couponers by using your couponing skills to give to a homeless shelter, food pantry, or a friend in need during the week of May 6-12, 2012!

I know we all get freebies from time to time or have a little extra that we could give out of our stockpile so this is a great way to help a lot of people all together!

The best part is you can do as much or as little as you want or can, and you can donate to a homeless shelter, food pantry, neighbor in need, whomever.  Remember every little bit helps!

Leave a comment on this post if you plan to donate that week and then after you donate leave a comment here or post a pic in the fb group to show everyone how you are using your couponing powers for good!

So…..here’s how it will work:
